Ellen – Office Manager since 1995

I happily reside in Sayville with my husband, Roy, and our three children. I have been working for Dr. Egan since 1995. I started as the bookkeeper, and have since taken on the role of Office Manager in addition to my other duties. Dr. Egan is a very detail-oriented person and always gives 100% to everything he does. My three children and I have all been treated by Dr. Egan and I couldn't be happier with the results! It is truly amazing how crooked crowded teeth can be transformed into a beautiful, healthy smile.

You will always find a friendly environment at our office. The staff is always upbeat and they do a great job. It's also nice working surrounded by beautiful aquatic life: turtles, fish and frogs. The large fish tank in the reception area is very calming for our patients before they go in for treatment. Once inside the treatment area, the patients view a beautiful ceiling mural with dolphins, turtles and more as they are being treated.

Dr. Egan's office is very unique. I hope you stop in soon, and check it out for yourself. You will have a great experience, but most importantly you will be on your way to a beautiful, healthy SMILE!

Lori Ann – Treatment Coordinator since 2010

I have lived in Medford for over 20 years along with my husband, Anthony, and my son, Matthew. I received my degree from St. Joseph's College in Patchogue. I am active within the Patchogue-Medford School District as well as the St. Sylvester's RC community. I have been Team Captain for the past six years for Relay for Life.

I love my job and I love what I do! I have worked as the Treatment Coordinator for Egan Orthodontics since June of 2010. I look forward to coming to work every day because I have the privilege of working with an amazing group of people. Dr. Egan and the staff are caring, kind and expert in their field. I have the opportunity to get to know the new and existing patients and their families and assist them in getting the beautiful, healthy smiles that they want. The office has state-of-the-art equipment. We have great contests and awesome prizes as well as Patient Appreciation Days! Patients look forward to referring our office, not only because it is the best, but because they get to spin our Gratitude Wheel and win gift cards!

Dr. Egan is also very conscious of the community. I enjoy volunteering with other staff and patients at the Smiles Change Lives Turkey Trot as well as food drives to help those in need.

Terri – Administrative Assistant since 2003

I am married with four children and I live in Sayville. I also have seven grandchildren that I love spending time with. I worked in a medical office for four years, handling referrals and insurance before coming to work with Dr. Egan.

The best thing about my job is working with Dr. Egan and the staff. I enjoy helping patients get their benefits from the insurance companies and seeing the great results when their braces come off. I feel lucky to work in a beautiful atmosphere that is always kept clean.

I enjoy working with Dr. Egan because his very professional and gets the results that the patients want. The staff is very friendly and very helpful with the patients. It's such a pleasure coming to work knowing that everyone gets along and the patients are very pleasant when they come in.

Melody – Dental Hygienist since 2016

My interest in dentistry began when I was in high school. I started working as a dental assistant after becoming certified from Eastern Suffolk BOCES in 2009. I soon realized that I had a real passion for the field and decided to apply to hygiene school. I received my license and became a Registered Dental Hygienist in 2015. 2015 is also the year I became a new mother to a wonderful baby boy. My family and I happily reside in Patchogue. We love our community and I am thrilled to work so close to home.

I love our working environment. Everyone is very well trained and we consistently work as a team. I believe that our teamwork, in part, is what makes this office so very successful. Dr. Egan is a pleasure to work for. I enjoy his sense of humor as well as how seriously he takes the work he does here. I've come to learn that he is very detail oriented, which I believe is an incredibly important attribute. He is a leader that we all respect and are happy to work alongside! I began Invisalign orthodontic treatment in 2017 and I cannot wait to see the outcome. :)

Diane – Orthodontic Assistant since 1999

Living in the Patchogue area with my husband and two sons, we often run into people who are, or once were, treated in our office by Dr. Egan. It's so nice to work in an office so highly thought of in the community.

The best part of my job is meeting new people. We have patients of all ages. I love our office. It is so bright and cheery. Dr. Egan designed our office to be child- and adult-friendly, with our beautiful fish tank, turtle tank, frog tank and ceiling mural. This makes our office a fun place to visit and makes being treated in our office an even more pleasant and unforgettable experience, especially for our apprehensive patients.

I enjoy working for Dr. Egan and our special staff. I feel our office is superior to others. We continually try to make our office the most efficient, professional and caring. Our patients' oral health is our top priority. Dr. Egan is a highly talented board-certified orthodontist who clearly enjoys his profession.

Kim – Orthodontic Assistant since 1995

I live in Medford with my husband and our two children. I love working in the community in which I live. I know many of our patients before they become patients. Although I’ve worked for other orthodontists, Dr. Egan is the only one I would trust to treat me and my children.

I love that Egan Orthodontics gives back to our community. Every year we sponsor and donate to dozens of events, teams and individuals. Through Smiles Change Lives, Dr. Egan donates treatment to needy Long Island children and through the Smiles Turkey Trot and our annual Candy Exchange he helps many more children.

I always look forward to coming to work with Dr. Egan and our staff. Our patients are the best and our office is a fun place to work!

Johanna – Orthodontic Assistant since 2014

I live in Ronkonkoma with my mother, father and FIVE sisters. I currently attend college at Suffolk Community College, but I plan on transferring to Farmingdale State College for dental hygiene. I got my start with dental assisting through BOCES. I was fortunate enough to get an internship at Egan Orthodontics. And what can I say, I fell in love with the friendly environment, great staff and great smiles! I love being able to work with children, and see them grow and see their smiles change!

I love that Egan Orthodontics gives a lot back to our community. We have contests with fun prizes and every Thanksgiving we volunteer at the Smiles Turkey Trot. Dr. Egan also donates treatment to needy children on Long Island through Smiles Change Lives.

My mother, grandmother, aunt, sisters and myself have all been treated by Dr. Egan and we couldn't be happier with our smiles! I have never worked with a more caring group of people. I always look forward to going to work, and seeing the greatest patients around with the greatest co-workers and boss:)

Megan – Orthodontic Assistant since 2010

I spent nine years, working in a general dental and periodontal office. The switch to orthodontics was a pleasant surprise for me. I love all the different tasks we accomplish in the office. Meeting all the new patients is my favorite part. I get to see where they all start and the changes in their teeth in just a few weeks of treatment. Dr. Egan and the staff are great to work with. Dr. Egan is very talented at his profession. It's amazing to see the pictures of patients before and after treatment. We always have new promotions and games for the patients to keep each visit to the office exciting. The office also has fish and turtles which are always fun to watch.
