Hospital Road Professional Center
The 250 Building is known for its unique architecture. Sunlight from an immense skylight pours into the two story central atrium where live trees grow.
Our Reception area invites you in! The sights and sounds of a 120 gallon goldfish tank soothe you. Our friendly and helpful staff welcomes you.
Treatment Area: Where Smiles are Made
Beautifully etched glass images grace the door that leads to the treatment and consultation areas. The underwater scene was created by Rich Belsky, known for his work with both etched and stained glass. Most treatment is done in an open bay with views of the terrarium as well as the turtle aquarium.
When you sit back in one of our chairs you're not staring at white tiles. Instead, you're enjoying a 30 foot ceiling mural painted by nationally reknowned artist Eric Henn. You might recognize the turtles, dolphins and seals from his murals at Atlantis Aquarium in Riverhead.
Private Exam Room and Consultation Room:
The Private Exam and Consultation Room is where Dr. Egan examines new patients and treatment recommendations are discussed with the aid of digital orthodontic records. The largest aquarium in our office houses aquatic turtles. It is six feet long and can be enjoyed from both the Treatment Area and the Private Exam and Consultation Room.
Diagnostic Imaging: The Better to See You
Cutting edge computer technology allows Dr. Egan to obtain digital photographs, radiographs(xrays) and even models of teeth for comprehensive diagnosis of every patient he treats. Viewable from both the Treatment Area and the Diagnostic Imaging Room, a living tropical terrarium is home for brightly colored Bumblebee Dart Frogs.
Sterilization and Infection Control:
Protecting Our Patients
A safe environment is essential to our orthodontic practice. To achieve this, we use many technologies. These include, but are not limited to; Autoclave and Dry Heat Sterilization, gloves, masks, other disposables and self-contained water units.
